How We Became Mr. & Mrs. Claus

finds you before you realize you were looking for it.

There’s something about Christmas that has always felt different.

Maybe it’s the lights glowing against a dark December evening. Maybe it’s the music, the traditions, or the way people seem to hold their families a little closer. Or maybe it’s simply the look on a child’s face when, for just a moment, they truly believe anything is possible.

For us, that feeling eventually became something more.

It became a calling.

It became

Mr. & Mrs. Claus.

More Than Putting on the Red Suit

Becoming Santa and Mrs. Claus isn’t simply about growing a beard, finding the perfect red suit, and practicing a hearty “Ho, ho, ho!”

Although those things certainly help.

We wanted to understand what it really means to carry on the tradition of Santa and Mrs. Claus. We wanted every child and family we met to feel as though they hadn’t simply met people dressed for Christmas—they had experienced a little piece of the North Pole.

That desire led us to the Northern Lights Santa Academy, where we graduated after learning more about the traditions, responsibilities, and craft behind portraying Mr. and Mrs. Claus.

And somewhere along the way, something changed.

We weren't simply preparing to play Santa and Mrs. Claus.

Mr. Santa Scotty and Mrs. Lisa Claus were born.

The Heart Behind Christmas

The more we talked about what we wanted to do, the more we realized that appearances were only part of it.

Christmas has a remarkable way of reminding us about the things that matter: kindness, generosity, family, hope, laughter, and love.

Why should those things disappear when the decorations come down?

That question became part of the inspiration behind Heart of Christmas Events.

We want to create magical Christmas memories during the holiday season, of course. We love the visits, photographs, celebrations, stories, laughter, and wide-eyed moments of wonder.

But we also want to carry the heart of Christmas beyond December.

Throughout the year, you'll find Mr. and Mrs. Claus sharing stories, videos, encouragement, little adventures, live conversations, and gentle reminders that being on the Nice List isn't something you only think about when Christmas is approaching.

Kindness doesn't have a season.

Creating Memories Together

Today, Mr. Scotty Claus and Mrs. Lisa Claus proudly serve families, businesses, organizations, and communities throughout Palm Beach and Broward counties, with opportunities to travel beyond our usual sleigh route for special events.

From intimate family visits to community celebrations, corporate appearances, virtual experiences, Christmas Live conversations, and everything in between, we want every encounter to feel personal.

Because years from now, a child probably won't remember every present that was beneath the tree.

But they might remember the night Santa knew their name.

They might remember Mrs. Claus laughing with them.

They might remember telling Santa about something wonderful they accomplished.

They might remember believing.

And sometimes those tiny moments become the memories we carry for the rest of our lives.

Our Christmas Story Is Just Beginning

Heart of Christmas Events is our way of sharing something we deeply love with others.

There are appearances to make, stories to tell, children to encourage, families to meet, Christmases to celebrate, and probably an unreasonable number of cookies still waiting somewhere in our future.

And we wouldn't have it any other way.

We are Mr. Santa Scotty and Mrs. Lisa Claus.
